Gender Equality Policy Afghanistan

The geographical coverage of APWINC projects ranges from the Asia Pacific region including the South East Asia and the Americas, to the Africa and Arab countries. The key human network in 41 countries world-wide allows APWINC to serve as a leading hub for international collaboration in the field of ICT for women and family.
APWINC has conducted various research related to gender empowerment and promotion of ICT, and gave out suggestions and recommendations for policy development in Asia and the Pacific region. The following is a list of major research carried out by APWINC independently or in collaboration with partner institutes.
Human capacity building is one of the major activities which APWINC is conducting to accomplish its goals and vision. Through this process, APWINC offers customized training for government officials, entrepreneurs, educators, NGO leaders, and local women and gives out recommendations on policies related to gender & ICT issues.

ASEAN Women's ICT Development Index

APWINC has recently produced a video clip for the promotion of the importance of WIDI (Women's ICT Development Index) Development and Management.

It is important for ASEAN Member States to connect together and to continuously find a way to enrich the gender data for briding the gender digital divide.
